I'm sure most of us have already heard about the Tsunami in Japan. Hoping there are no fatalities and minimal injuries if any. A few weeks ago two Japanese sisters we know were visiting here, hope...

The first waves were actually pretty small so no injuries or lives lost =) The local government are anticipating higher waves so people will be evacuated to higher ground.

Wait, wait - are you talking about this one? Not that CNN is always the most trustworthy news source, but it says they expect other waves to only reach like 6.5 feet. That's not life threatening - that's good surfing. The media is so sensationalistic sometimes.
