Ocean and Burlington county are right next each other, side by side, so by your own rationale Ocean County is South Jersey. See, now, if you were to split Jersey into three equal parts, top to bottom, yes, we'd be in the bottom portion of Central Jersey. I don't know, man. Splitting hairs. Will you accept South Central Jersey?
They are, except Burlington county people actually consider themselves Southerns and act like it too.
The accent changes when South of Ocean County. Ocean people still have the Central accent. So there's another thing. Yeh, actually South Central is most correct.
