Eden was killed off because of a Real world Contract dispute.
She wanted more money.. they said no and killed her.

yes, the contract dispute was real. they weren't gonna kill her for another six eps. the storyline will now be accelerated and i think that might be a good thing. we don't need another "Lost" on our hands.
