wawa is critical to life. money, sammiches, 24 hours.

who are you? rachel ray? did you just refer to sandwiches with a word like sammie?

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

HAAAA, i do NOT like that crass monkey woman. whatever happened to the smoking hot Nigella?

malibu malibuOG 2001

i never actually got to see her show although i wanted to cuz it had such a sweet sweet name. nigella feasts. almost like a holiday.

Nigella has cool tableware, but her recipes are very british, which isn't that great.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

you're right. i don't watch the food though. i'd sooner eat that savage rachel ray's cooking.

web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001

Yuck! Her food is consistently disgusting. And she's as irritating as nails down a chalk board.

malibu malibuOG 2001

i see the draw cuz she can make some good quick recipes that i like but i must concur that many other things like sammies and stoup about her are annoying. but giada and bobby soufle are the best.

Michael Chiarello is really good too; his foods are actually more classic than giada's. I like hers because they're simpler and use easier to find ingredients. Michael makes stuff and I think, "My grandmother use to make that all the time!". My favorite cookbook author right now, though, is Lidia Bastianich. Her cookbooks are fantastic and her show is on PBS.

i have made tons of Giada's recipes, i love them. I've made a few Rachael Ray recipes too. Only one was not good, the rest were tasty. I actually just made one of Giada's cookie receipes that my Aunt always used to make, and they tasted just like my aunts! They are sicilian fig cookies, and they were FAB!
