yaffa cafe-st marks, nyc. open 24 hours, 7 days a week and the most random assortment of people eat there. if the waiters are digging a cd, they will keep it on repeat for hours on end. the place is decorated with what look like garage sale rejects. they usually serve up lukewarm glasses of water. my favourite are the chicken fingers which are really super thin chicken cutlets served with this amazing honey mustard sauce. and for dessert the walnut sour cream apple pie. get there early on a nice night and ask to eat on the patio.
