Is anyone versed in how home-schooling works in NJ?

How much of your day did it take up? Did you still spend 6 hours a day doing stuff like normal school?

I didn't homeschool. A lot of kids I grew up with... they just play all day.. read a book for an hour.. and thats it. Seriously how long is school anyway? When you take out the getting up early...

Very good point. I'm kind of in a pickle where I may be forced to have my daughter homeschool. If an hour or so a day is spent doing it, that is sweet.

i did it in HS, it was good for me. i learned the stuff on my own. i'm glad i didn't do it in middle school and before though. if ur daughter is young, you are basically going to have to be her teacher
