I didn't mean to start a whole 'vegan/vegetarian' debate, here. I really just wanted alternatives to dairy, which is, in essence, vegan dieting. I still plan to eat meat and put eggs in my cakes, but I'd like to have suggestions for alternatives. I didn't mean to cause discord.
I wouldn't recommend to serve soy cheese at your next dinner party. The consistency is bizarre. The american style prewrapped slices are fine and they melt nice. I bought soy feta, haven't tried it yet.
I love rice dream milk. I have tried plain and vanilla, no complaints.
