We've been worknig on cleaning out old stuff and clutter. So apparently I had this stack of notebooks from when I was like, 8,9, maybe 10 years old. And they were my story notebooks. All these crazy stories with drawings of fantastical creatures and places and things. I really need to scan them in. I am gonna sit down and read them sometime this week. They are all in Polish and the sad part is that I am probably not gonna understand all the words.

This one story is apparently about a girl living through World War I and there is a drawing of war planes dropping bombs on houses and on another page, a graveyard, a grave stone with a name and date, and a picture of a little girl crying.

that is so neat. i hate clutter and i'm constantly cleaning out drawers/closets....but that is one thing i can't get rid of...all my old school books/journals. its cool to see how much you have changed.

my mom has my gramma's old hand written recipe book. and i just love leafing through it...because it's in her handwriting and all in Italian. (if you ever DO have kids, they will love looking at that stuff)

yeah it was so funny i also found this "time capsule" that me, my sister and a friend of ours created

and in it we filled out a questionaire type thing

and one of the things i said was that i'm not having kids

haha back in 1996.. a wee lass of 17.. and not even close to marriage.. I already knew. lol.

that is fun stuff though I have so many journals and stuff that I have kept, i'm never getting rid of that stuff
