i want to know why AZ doesnt change their time. THAT confuses me...are they not in the same country as us?

Supposedly, originally, it was created so that it was light earlier in the morning for children going to school. This year, however, it's being reduced by 3 or 4 weeks because Congress wanted the country to save money in energy bills (more natural light=less artificial wattage). But that begs the question, why not do away with changing the clocks altogether? It's so stupid that we have that archaic practice along with the second amendment, which were clearly created when this country was an agricultural society and are useless today. I'm going to go listen to some Crosby, Stills & Nash, now.
