He's a real sweet dog and very timid right now. The people that found him, found him in the woods almost starved to death and had to carry him home. They already have 2 shepherds and a lab and they couldn't keep a third big dog. So that's where we came in! haha ;)
He's sleepin right now and he's real scared of cars and stuff but I'm sure with time and love he'll be ok. :)

We adopted Popo almost a year ago and he's still real skittish around us, but getting better. Poor babies.

he's super cute....cool name too...i'd love to hear someone calling "MASTADON" out in their backyard. haha
Pretty soon they'll shorten it to MASTA! and then eventually to MASSA! then their neighbors will be confused when they hear them running around the yard yelling such crazy things
yeah pretty much it's Maston hahaha... 3-syllable dog names are hard! lol
i also call him Boy
and then they'll start screaming it in a high pitched falsetto voice like theeess: HEEEEEEEYYYYY MAAAAAAASSSTTTAAAAAAALLLOOOOOUIEEEEEEE while hopping around like rednecks having a hoedown spittin tabackeee
i took him to the vet this morning and the reaction to his name was pretty funny.
The doctor was like WOW Mastodon.. that's scary! haha
