This is correct. You also have to have a special section on your timeslip that shows what hours out of your total is RBC

Yes but only if you are specially invited because of a skill they need and you are actually supposed to have it written on the back of your service record slip and signed by your overseer but that usually gets overlooked. Plus it doesn't really count as field service time it's kind of added seperatly on your publisher card.
