how can you check how much ram is currently running on your comp? it feels faster, but i wanna see numbers!

i've been spec'ing out a laptop for myself, if you get a gig of ram with it that generally means two 512 sticks ... that's retarded

did it have a "click" when inserted? are both ends of the stick inserted completely?

if you say your PC is speedier, yet it still shows 256MB ... that's weird

it's all good now. thanks, dude. i just tried to run my editing program with like hours and hours of video on the table. this would generally slow everything down to a snails pace, but now it's all slick and pretty. i'm pleased. definitely worth it.
