So who's excited about a friend/call/family member coming to the Memorial tonight?
Donovan and I call on this older man who's been really receptive, but whom we haven't convinced to come to a meeting yet. When we saw him yesterday, we gave him the leaflet, read the appendix in the BT book to him, and asked if he would try to come. He said he'd try, and he 'might bring a lady, too.' We chuckled at that (the guy is like 75 and cute in that old person way) and we're really hopeful that he'll come tonight. He's actually the first call either of us have ever had that said he might come, not in that 'I'll humor you to get you out of my house' way. :)
I invited a young woman I have been witnessing to. She seems to enjoy reading the publications and I had her read Matthew 5 & 6 as a homework assignment. She liked it so much, she read the entire book of Matthew! She said she would try to make it tonight. So that was very encouraging for me. She told me she appreciated me for showing her a new path in life. So hopefully it'll turn into a bible study that I can turn over to a sister.
