it can be the wrong beans, the wrong cheese, stale chips...theres much that can go wrong. beleive me, take it from a mexican...LOL besides the ones in the pic look like someone chewed it up and...

Ooooooooo see this, you learn something new everyday. Yeah the lettuce makes it soggy eventually I guess. Never thought about it before 'cause I'm a human vacuum, basically.

ive never had lettuce in my nachos. if there is lettuce then its a tostada. lol
