Hey tesoro: I read about a spice festival this weekend in York, PA. Are you going?
no? never heard of such a thing? do you have a website? it's probably at the york fair grounds. thats where all the main events are.
I couldn't find a website. I read about it in saveur magazine and they only had a phone #. It sounded interesting, though, because you can buy potted herbs that are hard to find. If I had a chance of keeping a plant alive, I might be really excited about that. :P
Hm, not at the fairgrounds. if you were interested in going, i'd go.
Hmmm... let me pull the number from the mag and see what the deal is. I'll let you know.
Ahh, here's the website:

It's only noon-7 Friday and 9-4 Saturday, so I won't be able to make it. I was hoping it ran later, so I could go after service.
I'm sure it'll be full of old people, but you should go! Those herbs are hard to resist.
Haha - check out the herb of the year, "lemon balm" -
Sacred to the temple of Diana, lemon balm was called “heart’s delight’ in southern Europe. Its virtue of dispelling melancholy has been praised by herbal writers for centuries, and it is still used today in aromatherapy to counter depression.
It's sacred to my temple! :P
oh, it is at the fairgrounds. hmm, maybe i'll check it out! thanks for the tip!
