Ok, I'm getting angry about this. Do the parents in anyone else's hall bring their kids to meetings and out in service when they're sick?
The parents in my hall do it constantly, and now I feel like I'm getting a cold, after being in a car with a sick kid all morning Saturday. I asked a few of them about it, and they say they don't want to miss meetings. Ok, that's great, but do they ever use the call-in phone system? It can handle up to 9 lines connected directly to the sound system at the meeting. "Oh no," they say, "I've never done that." Would they? "No, I don't think so." UGH!!!
There is this couple in our bookstudy..in their mid-thirties. And it's the funniest thing, because they are constantly changing seats at the meeting if anyone coughs or sneezes around them. You can see them getting noticeably uncomfortable. I'm not sick anymore, but i've had this cough that's been hanging on...and everytime i cough, they shift in their seats. it's so funny.
But yea, that is annoying..haha..same thing when people come to work sick and get everyone in the office sick. STAY HOME!!!
i remember lauren's hall used to have a "clean room", you weren't allowed to wear deoderant or perfume in there. i'm guessing it smelled like funk
"if it smells like funk it must be us"
there are a few in my hall too, they just don't get it. they dont get that there are quite a few elderly peeps in the hall that are more susceptible to catching the sickness too. its more selfish than anything.
