Oh geez... Crawl back into your hole where you came from. LOL! The movie was really good. Tied the story line up nicely. The story all along is about Peter and his friendships, personal struggles, and how he must juggle them with his great power to save humanity. 1-3, the trilogy is great. Would be cool if they make more. There are so many villians to use. Obviously Toby Maguire can't do them forever. He is in his 30's now. But I really can't see anyone else being Spiderman. So it'll be interesting to see who will be cast in the future.
i liked the first 2 a lot better. i thought they turned up the cheese factor bigtime on this one. plus i felt like they dragged out the dramatic parts and rushed the action parts. venom was in it for all of 2 seconds. overall i would give it 4 out of 10 stars.

im with you guys on this. i was quite disappointed! they needed to expand on venom (most exciting parts) didnt need all the cheesy parade scenes, the cheesy constipated faced crying scenes. its like they threw in those scenes to fill time or something.
The story wasn't about venom.... It was about Peter, Mary Jane, and Harry. Can't please everyone....
then dont introduce new characters. theres plenty of story line in the comics per villian....DUH
Not all the story lines in the comics are movie worthy. Sam Raimi picked the right story line to form his saga from. The villians fill in the background around the story. I like it that way.
Brotherman... you sound like some teenage chick because you sound like you actually like the love story theme in the movie... my goodness. Spiderman is about action first... they have been dragging the love story through 3 movies now... give it a break, give us more action- more Venom, Doc Oc, Scorpion, King Pin, Carnage, Sandman... come on...
Dude, go watch Starship Troopers if you want non-stop action and no story.... There are a lot more villians they can use for future movies. Fact of the matter is, if it were all action and no heart, the movies would have sucked.

Once again I agree with Matt. They had the love story in the first two, they just kind of dragged it out on this one. A little more action and less love story in this would have made it a much, much better movie.
Ok... Did you guys watch the movie? A big chunk of it was the rivalry between Peter and Harry and the dark Spiderman. The love story parts in the movie were no longer than the other two. I think your real beef is, this movie was a half hour longer than the other two. Get over it!

How did Gilmore girls last as long as it did? I thought it was gay after watching one episode a few years ago.
They're all cheesy in some way. If you look at the other two, there's more drama than action. That's what makes them good. Spiderman is not a larger than life figure per say. He still goes through the same things a normal person goes through. I saw it for the second time yesterday. And while I would have liked to see more of Venom, he was used nicely. I think your 4 out of 10 stars is a little dramatic. I give it 8 out of 10.

8 stars is too many. too much boring drama, too much emo-man, not enough venom (which was totally sweet). I give it 6 stars. primarilly because I didn't fall asleep, so it must have been somewhat exciting.
That's a bit more acceptable than 4 stars.
