I took an Allegra the other day and it didn't help at all. I took a Benedryl Allergy last night before I went to sleep, and I slept fine, but still woke up with a sore throat.
Maybe I should try a Claritin.
ugh! I'm so with you on that. I've been rotating Benadryl, DayQuil, and Mucinex. It's beautiful outside, but deadly. AND my throat is so hoarse I sound like George Burns.
u need a decongestant. try claritan-d OR if you take allergra take a sudafed as the decongestant. *ive been hitting the allergist for YEARS so all of this in ingrained in me.
Claritan-d is the only thing that works for me.
I think I'm finally going to cave in and get the shots this year.
I've been taking fish oil for the past month and i really haven't been bothered by my allergies much at all this year. i really think it's helped!
does that stuff really come in different flavors now? do you just take a spoonful?
yeah the one i have is like tangerine or something. i'm not gonna say it tastes delicious (although angela thinks so, weird...) but it's really not too bad and u don't burp up the taste later like the pills
