Nice, have you gone to check out the inside yet? Surroundings look promising.
Nope. If it's still for sale next time I go to London maybe I'll look at it. I know this square though, it's where I lived as a renter. That garden is in the middle of the square that only residents of the square have access to. And Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are like a 10 minute walk. The Kingdom Hall is a 3 minute walk. A Book study group is 5-7 minute walk. The shopping mall w/ cinema, pub, internet cafe, are a 30 second - 1 minute walk. Central line tube is 8 - 10 minute walk and you get to the West End theatres and cinemas in no time. Spanish cafe is 5 minute walk. Austrian pub is 5 minute walk. Portobello Road market is 10 minute walk. I mean besides being a beautiful setting, it's an ideal location.
Nice! You don't need a car.
Exxxxxxxxactly. I think I spent like $60 a week on transport in London. In NJ I'm spending like $100 a week on gas and a little over a hundred a month on car insurance. So, it's like $240 a month for the tube in London versus $500 a month driving a car in New Jersey. Ironic isn't it? You'd think London would be the more expensive one. But nope. Not in this case.
