is anyone going to the virgin festival in Baltimore or Lollapoloza in Chicago?
They are the same weekend, I'm trying to decide which one I want to go to. Smashing Pumpkins, Beasties and the Police @ Virgin. Pearl Jam & a lot of bands @ Lolla

What!? A VFest in the States??? Didn't hear about that. Every year they have VFest in Essex, England, and I always want to go every year. But I think tickets are somewhere between $200-$400 USD, depending if getting camping tickets or not & sell out really quick. They always have such an awesome lineup. I wonder if the American VFest will have the same lineup as the British VFest.
Hrmm. Just looked at the US VFest lineup. Not totally impressed. But the acts I would appreciate seeing there are The Fratellis, Spoon, Interpol, & Smashing Pumpkins. I guess Velvet Revolver would be nice seeing for my grunge days' sake. And would probably be nice seeing Dieselboy djing for my drum'n'bass days' sake. Depends on ticket cost. Don't know if I'd spend that much money on this Fest. The British VFest is more impressive to me... Manic Street Preachers, The Thrills, Damien Rice, Ocean Colour Scene, & Snow Patrol and with more so far. I found out tickets are about $260, but would have to factor in other costs like airline ticket, etc. Web site says tickets on sale tomorrow. http://www.vfestival.com hrmmm Tempting.
