juicymango juicymangoOG 2003

well i have a photoshoot early in the day and then i wanted to cruise south street for some intersting vintage items that might catch my eye! nothing in particular really.

Sad :( I didn't see this until today.

My sister used to work at a thrift shop on South--Retrospect. It was near on South and 6th I think? But behind that (whatever street it was on, 6th or 7th) was this really awesome vintage store that had all sorts of great stuff.

Yeah i just do not like philadelphia at all. I keep giving it chances and it just keeps being dumb. I am not even going to dignify it with a capital letter.

south street is supposed to be this awesome cool street and it was just nasty and dirty and disgusting... it's cool at night but during the day it was icky...

I miss New York

you're crazy

juicymango juicymangoOG 2003

whatever, south jersey boy!

i'm a new york city girl

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

I know~! I really enjoy philly. (Granted not as much as NYC, but still a cool city)

juicymango juicymangoOG 2003

i enjoy it at night sometimes... and certain parts are "ok" but yesterday.. during the day, south street was like walking down the worst and most beat down street in NYC, not the "coolest" street in a city

Check out this site www.gophila.com

I love the area right by the Franklin Institue...it's a square with a huge fountain...and the street is lined with flags from around the world. Such a cool area.

Philly stinks... such a boring city, it doesnt hold a candle to NYC...

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

nyc crushes philly, but i love philly and visit there a lot more than nyc. nyc is the real deal though. love it.

you kinda can't compare them. i don't know why everyone tries.

you can compare them. they are both cities.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

haha, i guess you're TECHNICALLY right

juicymango juicymangoOG 2003

ha i guess that's true - they are totally different. Just everytime I'm in Philly I miss New York. I guess that's that.

aw I like south street. cities are gross and dirty, but when you look beyond that there are a lot of cool things going on. last weekend i went to an asian festival at penn's landing. it was neat. and did you see these?? http://www.flickr.com/photos/28604918@N00/

South Street is not cool. It's fake cool. It's tourist cool! Stay away from South Street!
