So many people here (and NY too) love Rita's and I don't know why. Not that I DISLIKE it...but i don't think it's that great either. If you have ever experianced a real gelato...or granita...you would feel the same way.
yeah, i love rita's, but i don't think it's really trying to compete with the real stuff. they've got a niche, and their stuff is really enjoyable.
never actually had rita's. theres a bakery down the road from me, Lascala, that has awesome cream ices. i always get "creamolota." killer delicious.
