I have sort of an interesting query.
The general population is familar with certain smells like sulfur on the highway if one passes a marshy area, some will say it smells like rotten eggs.
Then if people have gross gym socks or whatever they'll say they smell like corn chips.
First of all any comparion of an offensive smell to a food that I enjoy makes me cringe but, I was wondering, why do these things seemingly smell similar? Are there possibly like common properties in corn chips as in dirty socks????

SO WEIRD! I was just wondering...so chew on that =P

its just that the corn chips are salty and gym socks are sweaty (salty).

Eggs contain large amounts of sulfur.
