Okay, I need help! Where should I go in little Italy? Which restaurants are the best? Which ones have great cannolis?
Cannolis...drool.....
A lot of the restaurants have gone downhill in Little Italy, but Il Cortile is really good.
yeah, I gathered that...
Il Cortile? Do they have really good everything?
They do. But what we always do is have dinner somewhere then dessert/cappucinos at La Bella Ferrara. It's a bakery/cafe. They have great pasteries...especially their tartufo. It's to DIE for. (it's a chocolate shell over vanilla icecream with cherries & nuts in the center)
I value your opinion on Italian foods. So, just to get it all straight.
Dinner = Il Cortile
Desert = La Bella Ferrara
Right on. I haven't been there in about a year...so i hope it meets up to your standards!!
*Dessert, not desert.
Here's Il Cortile's website. http://www.ilcortile.com/?littleitalynyc
Are you taking your GF there?
Yes. Her fondest memory of NYC was a cannoli from little Italy, lol. For sentimental value, I want to take her there with me.
aw, cute! you'll really enjoy it. I wish Little Italy was more than just Mulberry St. China town has pretty much taken over. :(
:) she'll love it, I'm sure! Thank you so much!
If I'm thinking of the right place, definitely eat your dessert outside in the back of La Bella Ferrara. It's super cute.
i didnt see the "little" part, and im like holy crap how does jahanna remember so much about restaurants in italy. lol
HAHA. Remember..."Italy....it's like LITTLE Italy....EVERYwhere!" hahaha
LOL that was so funny!
La Mela is the family style one we used to always go to back in the day. Have you ever gone there with us Todd? Larry loves that place.
