in NJ the limit for drinking and driving is .08. Did you ever wonder how you could get to that limit? Is it 1 drink per hour? Is it 2 drinks per hour?

I could have 5 beers in one hour and still be legal.

This makes me feel like a lightweight! If I had 6 beers in 2 hours I KNOW I'd feel it and I wouldn't attempt driving.

yeah, i normally don't drink much anyway, but if i'm driving i never have more than 2 beers, i drink water, and i wait a few hours to drive just in case. no sense pushing it.

yeah i've known a few guys who have gotten DUIs, and it is one of the worst things ever. Tons and tons of fines, lose your license for 7 months, mandatory classes. not to mention the fact you could kill or injure someone.

and you know whats annoying? Bill & i were driving home from your house, and he was racing me and I got pulled over & he just kept going. RAH i was so mad at him esp b/c i was following him.

Light beer isn't light because it's low in alcohol. Many of the light beers have just as much alcohol as regular beers. Light beers are called light because they're low in calories. You have potential of getting drunk just as fast on light beer as you do on regular beer.

I'm not sure about this. Alcohol stays in your bloodstream for a while, and it doesn't matter what size a person is, the breathalizers are skewed to get around that.
yeah but after a certain amount of time it does wear off. and you can see that according to this thing, it does show that it stays in your system for a while, because if i had 10 beers over 6 hours, i would still be well over the legal limit

Yeh, definately don't look at this as British pints which is like 19.5 - 20 ounces. That'd be severe.
I hafta find out what I weigh. Haven't been on a scale in ages. But after a tiny bit of drink you gotta do the safe thing - hand over keys to a trusted friend who didn't have anything at all, wait awhile before leaving and eat food, anything that eliminates risk entirely for your situation, even if under the legal limit.
My rule is, if I have more than 2, I don't drive. I think it's silly to not drive just because you had one beer. I mean if you came with someone who didn't drink, then it doesn't hurt to let them drive, but 1 or 2 is not going to affect me. I mean the calculator said I could drink 5 and still be under the limit after an hour! LOL!
I'm a lightweight, I can only drink 3 in an hour, 4 puts me over. I never drink that much anyway... I rarely drink.

wow. ok this test is really dumb. according to the test i would have negative blood alcohol levels if i consumed one beer or two beers in a six hour period. that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. yeah, this makes a lot of sense. right now my bac is a 0.00. but if i drink this beer, then wait two hours, my bac will be even lower than 0.00. i think a cop would still take you in for negative bas levels.
