have you guys ever noticed that people of different age groups have different hand writing. like, people my age and under have like bubble-like writing. and people that are older always have like, ...
at our convention people sat up in the sky boxes and typed on their laptops. it seemed a little weird to me, but I think our CO even had his laptop out, I figured that was for something important.
Then again those might have been brothers with assignments.
what about taking notes on a palm in short hand?
that's way, WAY too much work. have you ever used Graffiti extensively? it's hard enough just doing it for names
Donovan does that, mainly because he doodles if he's got paper. :) But he only writes down like 10 sentences of main points for each talk and I look up the scriptures for him. Plus he always compares his notes to mine when we have the review talk, because he writes so sparsely. His palm also uses graffitti 2, which is more like everyday characters.
I'd think it would be distracting to everyone else around to take notes that way - they were probably working on something. Plus, having taken notes of work-relating and RBC meetings, if you're typing what someone's saying, you really can't get the point. I type like 80 wpm and I was getting frustrated trying to keep up.
i hate note taking, but if i could have a laptop i def could keep up... thats easy.
