I totally think that person A is totally wrong. its obvious that person B (who as you pointed out isnt that familiar with subways in the first place) was just trying to help out. second you told the story wrong....persons A B & C were supposed to get off at 48th, and person B just pointed out at one of the stops...."i think that says 5th ave" and person a didnt bother to even get out of his seat to check. person C on the other hand has never been to central park, so person C has no reason to even be in this story.
