if you have collision.. the insurance only pays for the other person damage. Unless you have 2-way collision.
if you have comprehensive .. pays for yours and theirs and mines.
Collision covers your own car if you're at fault.
Comprehensive covers your car if it's damaged by an unknown person or an "act of god"
