how does one go about getting a physchiatrist... is that covered under medical insurance? do i just visit my hmo dr. first and say " ahh i'm crazy.. i'm going to stab bunnies"... then they refer ...

Look on your insurance card. It should have something about mental health services.

yeah theres usually a separate # for that. and no you dont have to go to your primary dr.
