does anyone know if optimum charges more for HD broadcasts?

you have to get iO digital cable to get HD from them. so if don't already have iO, it's an extra $10/mo. if you already have iO, you have HD. plus there's like cablecard rental fees, and stuff l...

yeah ... which is better? I'm pretty sure we have the basic (normal) cable, nothing special. Not sure if we have IO or not. Maybe i'll read my bill.

TCM = the movie channel? no idea, never checked. we do have a cable box. i will check on this tonight.

Turner Classic Movies. There's a bunch of channels that you get with iO that you don't have normally with just Family Cable.
