wow. on espn, it says 90 mil. thats 18 mil/year. thats a heck of a lot for a career .271 hitter, with a .324 lifetime on base. he's had 100 RBI twice.
but what happens to gary matthews jr? this does, however, give the angels a ridiculous defensive outfield. matthews-hunter-vlad is amazing.
Wow... A big reason for his contract, must be because of the one Beltran signed with the Mets. Their offensive numbers aren't too far off from each other, but both have gold glove defensive abilities.
