hmm that's true. i definitely agree with the idea of asking everyone to bring something, though.

I've taught Lauren to ALWAYS say "we'll bring dessert". It's so easy - buy some Entenmann's for like $5 - BAM. DONE. Lauren was previously baking for everything we got invited to ... i'm like "let's keep it easy, and focus on eating someone else's food"
