i thought it was. my friends brother lives there and they have to do EVERYTHING (preaching, meetings etc) on the DL or they'll get sent to prison or something harsh.

maybe its certain parts of china that its banned? not the whole country? i dunno.

Taiwan isn't part of China actually. It is "the republic of china" or "ROC" but Taiwan is its own country. But you are correct, the work is banned in mainland china.
