Really strange it says something about that, because Windows Movie Maker doesn't even show the Divx files when going to choose what file you want to import. Then if you hit the drop down to select "All Files" and then select a Divx file to import it gives this message "The file C:\....\...divx is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker."
do you have the full divx codec installed?
No idea. How do I find out? I can definately watch the Divx movies. But Windows Movie Maker says it's a file type that can't be imported.
just try reinstalling it from www.divx.com.
I dunno, I just tried to import a divx file in Movie Maker in Vista, and it worked fine. But who knows, maybe it's different in Vista.
oh yeh, I have XP not Vista, that could be the trouble
