I think people on here were talking about the Melting Pot? It's a fondue restaurant across the country.
We went last night to the one in Baltimore. And, yea, me & Austin were pretty disappointed. I mean, it wasn't awful, but like, the 1st course was the cheese fondue, and it just tasted like, a melted a block of chedder, no other flavorings, and then besides bread, they gave you raw brocolli & cauliflower, which is weird, it would have been good if it was cooked. Then next was salad, which was really good. Next the main course, which was all raw marinated steak, chicken & lobster, that you skewer and set in the fondue pot that has broth in it to cook it. That was okay, nothing great. Then the dessert course was really good, chocolate fondue and they gave you all kinds of fruit & brownies, etc. so that was really good.
Anways, it was really expensive. The bill was like $250 bucks for four people, but my inlaws paid because it was our anniversary gift. So that was really nice. plus we each had a few drinks. But basically, base price per couple is like $100. So still, pricey, and not great. I do not recommend! Or go maybe just for dessert, because that was good, plus for the novalty of it.
OMG i want to try that. there are a few here and always forget about it when my friends and i are trying to decide on where to go for dinner etc.
