oh!!! And in case you have just had the flu and now you feel like you want to throw up your entire GI tract - and the nausea doesn't go away for like 3 days, it's probably due to the swelling and MUCOUS all over your sinuses and inner ear. Apparently. Some decongestant/antihistamine work to help that. Sort of.

OMG i hate that. i was totally sick w/the flu, was out a day and a half the week before (i toughed it out at work) and got antibiotics and it helped everything else but the icky mucous. im still dealing with that. i'll be all talking and laughing and then i get all nasaly cuase of it. lol
ha then you must not have had the flu. I had a 101 - 102 fever for three days, tried to go to work for a few hours and my coworkers said they've never seen me so sick. The next day my parents took me to the doctor and just to shower took all my energy. But I'm just happy I didn't get the nausea bug my friend has!

i had a 101 fever. and i DID go to the dr and they told me i had the flu. im just not a weakling...and for me to miss ONE day of work, everyone thought i was dead...so yeah i did have the flu
dude...i had mono and was playing hockey....weak AND feverish.
it's all the tequila and cactus juice. those mexican home remedies are legit.
keep in mind we're in a strange season where the weather fluctuates and cold bugs are strong. also katie is pale and thin as a bamboo chute. i imagine those nasty bugs wreak havoc on her.
OMG my friend....her mom has ALL these old school mexican remedies. you mention and ailment and shes giving you some tea, food or something. its SO funny.
my grandma in poland used to make this honey-garlic-onion syrup that would clear up congestion etc. in a DAY!! i miss it.
can you get the recipe for it? or was it the "only gramma knows how to make it" type deal?

HAHA! I actually met a brother this past weekend who lives in Texas but is from Jamaica originally. He said there's an alcohol you can only get there and when he would get sick, his mom would pour it on his head and rub it on his back, then give him a sip. Said it worked everytime lol.

yeah it totally knocked me off my feet too and i only had 100 fever, i was DONE and yep - i couldn't even stand up for too long .. ugh it was the worst i've been sick in YEARS, YEAAAARSSS
finally the decongestant cleaned up my sinuses and i am no longer nauseus - buttttttt i was also drowsy as crap all day
yeah....i didnt even think about the decongestant until my mom suggested it. its been a HUGE help
i felt sick to my stomach and crappy for like 4 days. it was weird cuz i didn't puke or anything, just felt nauseas and totally wiped out
yeap i'm still goin thru it the decongestant is not really fully helping.. eating is not fun when you want to puke up what you're eating
the nausea from it is helping me not eat...lol
yeah i'm enjoying the weight loss and all but COME ON
