Doesn't this fall under the same category as skydiving and bungee jumping? As in, you're nuts if you do it? A guy I work with almost died doing it.

I didn't click the link. I thought they were going to a cliff face out in PA. I'm just saying, it's a dangerous sport. Even experienced climbers get killed. The guy I work with fell 50 feet before he regained control.

That same guy was trying to convince me to go. Then he told me he fell and told me a story about a guy he knew who fell onto a rock ledge and broke his legs and some other people who repelled off the end of their lines... Became less appealing after that.
dude... its a rock climbing GYM.... GYM. it has all the safety equipment and the floors are padded... i fell in one landed square on my back, other then getting the wind knocked outta me, thats all that happened.
thats like comparing paddling around a wave pool to big wave surfing in Hawaii...

yeah like underneath, like a middle of a sandwich. i get my shoes on for it, the mountains are frosty
