my mom never bought us the good sugary cereal as kids, so we'd make our own. I loved rice krispies w/ a sprinkle of nestle's quick powder (so the milk gets chocolatey) and a bunch of mini marshmallows and you microwave the whole thing for 20 seconds. yum.
I'm hungry for rice krispies and horseradish cheese.

weird thing - i was 11 when i came from poland and i really never had cereal before, we didn't have that
and i didn't like it
i didn't like any snack foods/candy/cookies
I HATED oreos and cheetos in particular that I can remember
but now of course i LOVE that stuff but can't ever eat it lol
same with my little cousins from Poland when they were visiting, they didn't like any of the junk food, but after being here like a month or so, they started to get used to it and they got chubtastic real quick, it was weird, they came here stick thin and left... chubbsters
i'm always amused when you talk about Poland, because i there were these polish girls that i've met several times who seem like they just left poland 10 minutes before you met them ...
yet you seem normal, and nothing like them, with no trace of accent.
