We are moving to Philly area so our house is for rent
if anyone knows anyone who wants to live in south jersey by the beachy beach
Cute place, but 103 miles one way to my job, not so appealing. haha
OMG are you serious? i thought you hated philly? whats up w/that?
Speaking of Philly... Philly sports fans are retarded. I took the kids to the Mets/Phillies game yesterday and the fans have the nerve to taunt Mets fans when the Mets have won both series so far. They're all high still because the Phils won the division last year... Get a life. New season! So far the Mets own them.
yeah i hate philly but chris got a really good job there, and most of my clients are from the area, and philly suburbs are not bad
sooo, we're movin!
this is sad .... although, actually, a good friend of mine and his wife are moving to philly from LA. You better not be friends with them by the time i show up!
why is it sad? I'm happy about moving. I hate south jersey. I liked it for a while but now i'm just sick of it and ready for a change. We have been looking to move for the past year.
and you were supposed to move this way....tsk tsk! :P
hey at least it's.. west.. ha
you'll love it
Which suburb? I'm in West Mount Airy on a regular basis.
"now's the perfect time. the season is just right. we can play all day and dance into the night. at beautiful mount airy lounge, all you have to bring is your love of everything. all you have to bring is your love of everything, beautiful mount airy lodge."
anyone remember that commercial?
yeh I remember it. I hope you googled to get the words, cause it's right sad if you knew it off the top of your head. Wrong Mt. Airy tho.
grats on the new job, chris!
Is your house for sale also, and just wont sell? or are you just renting it in case things dont work out in philly?
We talked to our realtor and he said selling right now would be totally pointless - we would lose a lot of money. So we are not listing it, but we want to sell it. We'll just try to sell it in like 6 months to a year, maybe the market will turn around. ORRR if we can't get a renter... we'll probably just list it and see what happens. There are like 4085742498 houses for sale around here right now, not budging.
If things don't work out in philly we'll go somewhere else, i don't want to come back here lol
dude, get a houseboat... and sail around the world taking pictures of ocean weddings, chris be a sunbather ... come over on this side and ill be your skipper... and get dan... he will be Gilligan....
wow i'll definitely live on a houseboat, spending my day modeling my ridiculously soft abs for kam
lolol
i would love a houseboat
um...
words can not express how gay that statement was...
soft abs?
lol
i mean... WOW gay... i hope lauren sees this.
Renting it out now is very much the best thing to do at the moment for obvious reasons. If you're not buying another house, needing the money from the sale of your current home... yeh, definitely do not sell. But, let me know when you're ready to sell it. :)
And I wasn't asked to list it. I'm hurt.
hey we are not listing it we just wanted to talk to our local realtor to ask him how the market has been here in town
don't be hurt`
oh that's a simple one... rotten for sellers & believe it or not, it's a 'buyer's market' (has nothing to do with people buying or not buying... it's still a buyer's market which is exactly why you don't wanna sell unless you'd be buying something else, but I guess you're gonna rent in Philly, so yeh don't sell now) ...that's the whole country now of course & even other than this country as well 'cause the smart cats invested in the US economy.
some positive news...
Gas prices might be lower for us in June finally...
"Crude Inventories Rise
10:30 AM ET 4/23/08 | Briefing.com
The major indices catch a modest bid, led by tech stocks (+1.1%). The major indices are trading at their best levels of the session.
After hitting an all-time high of $119.90 per barrel in yesterday's trade, crude oil retreated as the contract switched to June delivery from May delivery. Prices are set to go on the move, as the government's weekly energy report just hit the wires. The Department of Energy said crude stockpiles rose by 2.42 million barrels, which is larger than the expected build of 1.50 million barrels. Just prior to the release, crude was trading down 0.8% to $117.11 per barrel."
If it were closer to Princeton, me and a friend would probably like to take a look at it... sorry. If I hear of someone tho, I'll tell you guys.
