lol i'm flaberghasted, my car just died in the wawa parking lot
does anyone know anything about cars?? i drove to wawa, went in to get a salad, came out, and my car is dead
i had to walk home haha.. it's dead, like nothing happens when i turn the key, except all the lights light up on the dashboard and click maniacally
also when I try to lock/unlock the car, nothing happens, and when I press lock/unlock on the alarm clicker thingie it just clicks maniacally
What is going on?? did i do something?
Yep, sounds like you have an ALMOST dead battery.
if you get it charged soon and drive aroudn a while you'll be OK
(note - i know this because a few weeks ago I was working on my car - setting up a new ipod interface. i left the headlights on by accident while i was working on it and an hour later got the clicking noise. called my mechanic, the famous chris doumas - in a panic, and he said just jump it and don't worry.)
oh really? Yeah i checked under the hood and there is pink liquid "leaking out" around the battery connections

now that i think about it, when i took the car out for an errand earlier today, my trunk was not fully closed
so, the trunk was probably not fully closed since yesterday
and the trunk light was probably on

OH and by the way, just to paint the entire picture in all of your minds, this is another one of those "mayo on the sneakers" type situations
i decided to take my dog with me to Wawa, becausae he's hyper and he likes car rides - even though it's like 2 seconds away, whatever, soooo i didnt' feel like getting his leash so i just walked him out to the car holding his collar, he hopped in, got all excited to be able to stick his head out a car window for 2 seconds, blah blah, i went in to wawa, i was there for like 2 minutes TOPS and came back out, car is dead
annnd so i'm like.. okay.. i have to get the dog out of this car, it's stinkin hot in here, but I have no leash, aaahhh what am i gonna doooo
soooo one of Chris' belts happens to be in the trunk so I had to use a BELT to walk my dog home - and i live within walking distance from Wawa but it's kind of like walking through the woods ... and i'm wearing flip flops... soooo here I am.. walking my dog home.. in flip flops.. through woods.. on a BELT... my feet getting caught on random crap and i stepped in something WET also... and also carrying a Wawa bag with my salad because I was starving.. and the dog was pulling me like crazy because it wasn't his pinch collar.. oooyyyyy
yeah i laughed a little during this journey
