So, a Columbian guy at my company is moving back to Columbia. He's had a rough past 7 years. His son died in the World Trade Center and it messed him up pretty bad. His personal life is a mess, although you wouldn't know that by seeing him at work. He's moving to Columbia in hopes of reflecting on things and straightening his life out. Anyway, I used his leaving and his issues as a good way to witness to him. I gave him a magazine on having peace of mind and another on death and is there anything after that. When I gave them to him he was touched. He gave me a hug and said he would read the magazines. He came back again an hour later to my cubicle and told me that what I did was the best thing anyone could do for him right now, or something to that affect. Hopefully the articles will help him cope and draw him to the truth.
awww that brought tears to my eyes!!! good job!! i do hope he contacts someone in columbia or one of the friends contacts him!
Yeah, he's a great guy. I could see him doing that. I'll have to ask him tomorrow if he read the mags. His last day is Friday.
