Yay, new question..
Assuming you may be using Buzz on Vista, like me, and therefore may be using ASIO4ALL as well, what's an appropiate ASIO buffer size, you reckon?
I haven't a clue what's appropriate...I got to install ASIO4ALL just now, and made the buffer size 160 samples. If you're set up in the same situation... what's a good figure? Is 160 good, or too high or too low you think? Latency seems to be corrected now, but is this pushing the limits of my computer or can I push the limits further?

If you're set up in an entirely different way for your music.. sorry for all the questioning.

Why don't you PM him with this nonsense... ;oP

theremin thereminOG 2002

Because, it's an open question for anyone that happens to know. Only directed it to someone specific.. cuz I think he has experience with it. But anyone else could as well. Don't have to rip on everything I ever start a discussion about... or do you? I don't care if he answers or Zoe down the docks answers. Or maybe every now and then you can just as well ignore a musing instead of talking down to me on every little thing that I post, and that I happen to not think is nonsense. I can take a negative opinion here and there, and a bit of fun and a laugh... but where do you draw the line? I try to be respectful, please do the same for me. Thanks. All you had to do was glance at the post and move on if you're that bothered by it. Can't be that impossible for you, can it? I eventually worked this out myself yesterday... but, yeh, so, whatever. Bye now. Thanks. From now on, try your best to ignore something you don't have anything beneficial to say about. Coo?

But what fun is that? I like to hear your lengthy responses to my childish comments. LOL!

wow.

yay yayOG 2004

The simple answer is.. whatever sounds good. Every sound card is different, so you're best off just trial and error. If it's choppy, go up by 25-50. Rinse repeat. This is where you see a big difference between a generic on board sound card and commercial sound card, the buffering is usually way better, and latency (mainly caused by converting analog to digital and vice versa using buffers etc) is virtually non-existent. HTH

Oh and P.S., haven't used buzz machines in quite a while. They really need to make an alternative, way too buggy.

Ok, coo, thanks.

Yeh, it is pretty annoying at times.

Did you hear that the creator of Buzz is supposedly working on a new Buzz tho finally?

But, if I could justify the expense at this time, I'd probably buy either Reason, Ableton Live, or Native Instruments.

..Maybe eventually.

Ableton Live? Who are you? Thomas Banglalter?
