I got the urge to grill the shrimp that I bought today.
At first I was going to just saute the shrimp for a scampi but, is there a way to get a grilled taste without having to fire up the grill???? Can you fake it by broiling it or will this leave the shrimp tough and dry?
SO I took 5-0's advice (dude's got MAAAD skills + secrets) and sauteed the shrimp quickly in just a bit of oil. With the shrimp I tossed pasta with olive oil, sauteed garlic, lemon juice and a twist of pepper.
I had Steamed broccoli on the side.

Hmm, i was going to say to use some liquid smoke. (Your meal sounds yummy)
That's so funny. I actually have a bottle of liquid smoke so I used a dash and it worked out really well, it just happened to be in my spice cab =o)
