yeah you're a good writer. i think your words have enough impact on their own without you having to put them in caps and quotes and stuff. let the reader have some freedom of interpretation i guess? like dont try to force them to read it exactly how you think it should be read i guess is what im saying, you know? and that's hard to do, but i personally think it makes what's written more enjoyable to read.
i love this sentence, "It is even more difficult when they drop that precious cargo, our heart, while expecting that we will be equipped to mend and salvage the remains, alone."
but again i think you over explain yourself a little by saying "our heart." i think in writing it's the details you leave out that are the most important ones sometimes. so dont assume that your audience isn't going to understand what you're talking about unless you explain what you're talking about in so much detail. a good exercise can sometimes be to take what you have written, say its a whole page, and try to say the same exact thing in only half a page. and then do it again but in 1/4 of a page.
idk, im not an expert, but that's just my take on it. awesome piece though liv! :)
Thanks so much. I'm just enthusiastic about so many things. I know what you mean about my wordiness and my CAP-happy tendencies. This is great. Keep it coming. MICHAEL I know you're out there ;oP
i like to assume that my audience are morons, and that they need everything explained to them like they are four years old.
BAH! :oP
explain it to me like im 2 years old.
Not sure why this cracks me up. It could be because you're Dr. Jack Stanley Hodgins IV. a.k.a. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0862328/ in MY mind.
