I see where the confusion is... the GB and the board of directors of the WTBTS were pretty much the same... but the GB gave up the legal dealings of the WTBTS to members of the Great Crowd. Yeah, Bro Larson is Great Crowd, he's president of the Society, but not on the Governing Body. The GB is made up of anointed, while the legal dealings of Jehovah's Oraganization are run by the Great Crowd...
I thought only anointed were appointed to the GB.. there are capable brothers of the Great Crowd who assist, but from what I understand only anointed brothers are on the GB.. if this changed, where is the reference? I must have missed it...

I was at the annual meeting 1 1/2 years ago.. 2001... it was the meeting before that one that stated that members of the great crowd would be ASSISTING the GB... only anointed brothers are on the GB
