i don't know what it is like to have a grandfather. One of my grandpa's died from being shot and that was before i was born. my other grandpa died when i was a little tyke. so did my grandma. i only have 1 grandparent alive and thats my grandma. shes pretty cool. i don't think i will miss anybody ever taking me fishing seeing how i think it is the boringest thing in the world.
did you catch anything? i got bored when my line wouldn't move a bit. it's cool to see bass jump out of the water tho. they're pretty big
ya i could stuff but i don't find that fun. when my dad and his brothers go fishing they fish all day, literally. i might like it more if they would fish for maybe an hour but i hate it when they make me go fishing with them. i've seen fish jump and its pretty cool i guess.
fishing all day.. oh man. i see wat you mean. but just for an hour or 2, yeah that's fine. it may not be your thing. but some people live to fish and fish to live.
in the words of my great fisher grandfather and uncles, "the point of fishing is not to catch anything. if you think of it that way, you're gonna hate it."
then what is the point of fishing? just to relax and socialize? if that is the point there is no use in going. if you fish for the food, i guess thats a good reason but you can still buy it.
of course you can buy it. you can also watch sports on tv but you usually play them too. (incidentally you can watch fishing too.) its the experience. it teaches patience and you bond with the people around u.
