wow ummmm that was a lot of words that wouldn't make sense to me unless I actually saw the problem with my own two eyes . . . it's funny, cause all I do at work all day is fix problems like that for people . . . but I don't use Office 2000, and I've never heard of anything like that b4 . . . all I know is, in WordPerfect, you should be able to save documents in Word format, so that when you open them in Word, it should bring any font properties with it, rather than trying to open the WP docs in Word directly. But that's the only suggestion I can offer . . . maybe it'll help.
But I'm trying to open existing wordperfect docs in word. That's where I can't convert properly.
Ah . . . so that means you no longer have access to WordPerfect, right? That might be a problem . . .
No, I still have both. It's just a pain to have to open both because WP runs about 90% slower than word.
