I just LOVE talking about white people . . . except there aren't any . . . so I guess I'm either talking about nothing usually, or to myself . . . and now I'm confused . . .
Why do you just LOVe talking about white people..and why can I tell you're being sarcastic?
actually, they're my favorite people . . . you see, all growing up, I was "accused" of being white, so I figured, I may as well find out what these people are about since I'm evidently one anyway ....
myself, evidently . . . I think that's how I've always explained it to people . . . ever heard of an OREO? (and I'm not talking about the cookie - well, kind of, actually)
you mean black on the outside white on the inside right? i never understood it when people say this. you are who you are. there's no difference as to what you look like because you're not trying...
yes, that is correct - and my defense was always exactly what you said . . . but alas, children can be so cruel . . . all the little urban children were just hateful 'cause I was smarter than all o...
but i'm just so darn lovable that I KNOW that wasn't it . . . but I sure didn't like them too much . . . they all wanted to BE me, and they knew it . . . jealousy is NOT a pretty thing . . .
I used to abuse what you call the "ellipsis" as well and it takes a lot of restraint for me not to use it when writing for school. I think it is totally better then a comma and can bridge two sentence fragments together quite nicely. Yes, I am perfect.
I agree with you on the uses of the ellipsis - it is definitely more versatile than the comma. As far as the perfection goes, I'll have to be the judge of that myself, because there are not many who are able to achieve or trascend my level of perfectivity. (and YES I made that word up)
i always over-use the exclamation point. then i had to limit myself to one a paragraph. just too exciting.
