And now for the Puerto Rican's viewpoint: This is exactly why Jehovah's organization rocks. I was raised in suburbia and for the most part I'm happy my mom chose Toms River over Queens, NY. HOWEVER, what bothered me growing up was that I wasn't white enough, black enough, or even puerto rican enough to be accepted into ANY of those "groups." But I must say, out of the 3, white people are the most accepting of me. For the sheer reason that I'm interesting because I'm different-they love my hair, my all-year-round tan, and my arroz con pollo!!! And I like being me, how many people can listen to Weezer, do the merengue and know all the lyrics to Ignition? Life is good...
I can do one of those three things, but I do it very well. Listen to Weezer.
Yea, I have to admit, I'm best @ listening to the Weez. Hey, when they go back on tour to promote the 5th album we should go! I've seen 'em 2x and it's not enough!
I'd totally be up for that!!! I saw them last year on the Enlightenment tour..simple bliss.
Awesome! We'll hook it up =Weerez= style..."Cheese smells so good, on a burnt piece of lamb!"
=w= I had that line stuck in my head all day the other day..it was nuts!
-you take your car to work, I'll take my board
Good lookin' out-I don't have a board...
Neither do I..but I wish I did cause surfing is one of the best things in the world!
hahahaha. that is the same with me. the year-round tan, my mom's cooking, dancing, weezer, and r.kelly. its weird cuz at school its always my one asian girlfriend, my irish girl with flaming red hair, and me black tan and long brown hair. people stare at us and i love it so much.
