I don't read Stephen King, although I did read one of his short story books that a brother lent me, it was good, but bothered me a little, so I stopped, and never picked up his stuff after that, but I have seen a couple of his movies on TV. I think Firestarter is awesome. some people could take it as demo, but then they'd be the same people to take X-Men as demo. Its however you look at it. Are these powers from demons or genetic mutations? The fact that the father suffered physical exertion from using his powers and that they were passed on to his daughter (but in a different form) makes me think that, like the X-Men, theres a genetic/mutation reason for the powers. so I was cool with that.
But i think in this situation it has a little more to do with who wrote or who created it. I think stephen king is a demon himself, so everything he writes is too... but i know what your saying, its like playing killing games and tell mom that its "only robots"
after the flood, Jehovah didn't allow demons to take the form of humans anymore. so I doubt it.
Haha. we used to do that with my friend's mom. I'd come over and we'd rent "Rolling Thunder" for the NES and tell her everyone was a robot!
